“In the deepest ocean
The bottom of the sea

“Last night I dreamed about you. What happened in detail I can hardly remember, all I know is that we kept merging into one another. I was you, you were me. Finally you somehow caught fire.”—Franz Kafka to Milena Jesenska, 1921 (via nirvikalpa)
Pep Talk: All of your actions and words have an impact. You can’t possibly know how much you’re improving the world just by being kind. Your positive input can change an otherwise bleak sitiation into something beautiful. Today remind yourself: I can change the course.
I’ve done this design a few times, and seriously, it’s so easy if you’re already into nail art. All it takes is some patience and a steady hand.
You will need: nail art pens (both black and white – I use Sally Hansen), black nail polish, color for your base (I use orange in this tutorial, but I’ve done multi on my roommate)
1. Start with two coats for your base. 2. Use nail pen to draw a half circle, a zig-zag and straight lines on your nails (I really don’t know how to explain them, but I promise, these will look good when you’re done). Just make them look like this:
3. Fill in above the zig-zag with black polish.
4. After the black dries, dot it with white polka dots. I used both a polish brush and a pen, to alternative dot sizes. I’m sure toothpicks would work as well. Your final product should look something like this:
